The Other Group
There was a specific time when I was considered the “ Other”,  but it was a very blatant situation.  I remember when I was a little younger  my mom made me go to a camp for the summer upstate New York.  I was considered to be the other due to the fact that I was the only person of color in my group at the camp.  It was weird for me at first because it all seemed because they were of Caucasian decent we really had nothing in common and also because they were from upstate and I from the city also proved to make a lot more differences in how they saw me.  After being ostracized for a while I came to the realization that we were different and there was no getting around it, so I had to suck it up and revel in the fact that I was different from everyone else and I made it through.
